Schwab Bank charges for outgoing wires, and it handles domestic wires only. Here is what Schwab’s published pricing guide says.
Schwab Wire Fees
| Wire type | Fee |
|---|---|
| Outgoing domestic wire | $25 per transfer |
| Outgoing domestic wire submitted online | $15 per transfer |
| Online wires with $100,000+ in Household Balances | Three free per quarter |
| Foreign-currency wires or wires to or from banks outside the U.S. and its territories | Not accepted |
Schwab’s guide lists incoming wires as domestic wires only. It does not state a per-wire dollar cap, so ask Schwab before sending a large wire.
